The Martindale tester is specifically designed to determine the durability and resistance of textile fabrics, shoe uppers, shoe linings, and shoe soles to abrasion. During a Martindale test, specimens are subjected to repeated abrasion in a Lissajous pattern until a specified number of cycles is reached.
Ideal for fitting materials commonly used in the textile and footwear industries, such as textile fabrics, shoe uppers, shoe linings, and shoe soles.
To enhance work efficiency, the GT-7012-M8A features multiple test stations, allowing up to 8 specimens to be tested simultaneously.
By rubbing specimens in a Lissajous pattern, the GT-7012-M8A simulates the effects of rubbing in various directions.
