GOTECH Rotary Crockmeter (GT-7034-K)

Detail

Principle

The test specimen is subjected to rotational rubbing in both clockwise and counterclockwise directions using an abrasive head wrapped in dry or wet cotton rubbing cloth under prescribed pressure, angle, and speed to evaluate color transfer and staining.

Color transfer assessment:

Supports evaluation of color transfer and change throughout production, testing, storage, and use.

Staining assessment:

Allows for assessing the degree of color transferred from the surface of the specimen to adjacent materials after rubbing.

Cotton rubbing cloth usage:

A dry or wet cloth is used to cover the abrasive head, creating a more realistic environment to simulate conditions that may be encountered during real-world use.

Quality assurance:

Helps manufacturers verify if their textile products meet specific quality standards for color transfer and staining.

Reliable textile performance evaluation:

Provides quantitative assessments of color transfer and staining, offering valuable insights into the performance of textile materials.

Standard conformity:

Ensures that products meet industry standards and satisfy quality expectations in the market.

Feature

Rotational rubbing

Utilizes rotational rubbing to simulate abrasion from external objects, replicating staining caused by rubbing.

Bi-directional rotation

Enables rotational abrasion in both clockwise and counterclockwise directions within a specified angle, simulating real-world usage conditions.

Dry and wet testing

This instrument is capable of performing either dry or wet abrasion tests.
