GOTECH Textile Flexing and Abrasion Tester (GT-7043-N1)

Detail

Principle

The fabric flexing and abrasion tester is designed to evaluate the flexing resistance and rubbing resistance of materials such as polyurethane.

Pressure method:

A loading plate applies force to the specimen, resulting in rubbing that causes damage. The resistance of coating to shear flexing and rubbing is then assessed. Suitable for materials with raised surfaces and rough substrates with thin polyurethane coatings.

Non-pressure method:

Without the use of a loading plate, rubbing is generated by direct contact between specimen surfaces. The resistance of coating to shear flexing and rubbing is then assessed after a specified number of cycles.

Wide applicability:

Applicable to various materials, especially those with special surface characteristics such as polyurethane, for rubbing resistance evaluation.

Continuous flexing:

The specimen is subjected to continuous flexing during testing, simulating real-use conditions.

Visual evaluation of wear:

Evaluate the resistance of specimen to wear and deformation through visual inspection.

Feature

Realistic simulation

It can simulate the continuous bending of materials in actual use, subjecting the sample to gentle friction, which is more in line with real-world usage conditions.

flexibility

It offers two testing methods: pressure method and no-pressure method, to accommodate the characteristics of different materials, such as materials with a corrosive surface or materials with a thin layer coated on a rough surface.

Intuitive user interface

It features an intuitive and easy-to-use interface, reducing user learning time and improving efficiency.
